Katherine Tilbury is a self-taught professional artist, originally from Lacombe, Alberta. Now living in Edmonton, she thrives painting modern landscapes in watercolor, acrylic or mixed media that are inspired by the Albertan landscape around her. Known for her vivid use of color, Katherine produces bright, cheerful paintings hoping to inspire joy in her viewers. Also passionate about art education, she hopes to inspire young artists and encourage them to explore their own artistic voice. Trying to find the beauty in all things, she encourages her students to expand their expectations of themselves and have fun and create!
