Alyson Horne
Theatre Instructor
Alyson is an Edmonton based artist originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba where she began performing at the age of 3. She moved to Edmonton in 2016 to attended MacEwan University’s Theatre Arts program. Since receiving her diploma she has been working as an Edmonton based actor and as a teacher at Gymboree play and music, teaching music and art. Most recently Alyson has had the pleasure of touring the province with Alberta Musical Theatre Company’s production of Sleeping Beauty. Throughout the tour she had the opportunity to work with children from schools across Alberta helping them explore what it means to be apart of a production. Alyson is passionate about sharing her love of theatre through creating a safe and fun environment for students to explore and grow.
Alyson’s fondest memories growing up are of the many performing arts classes she attended and she is very excited to now be on the other side of things.
